Frequently asked questions

Do I need an API key to use AI?

No. Even on the Free plan you can use AI without an API key through the monthly free AI allowance (Gemini). The allowance resets for each person on the 1st of every month. On a paid plan, high-performance AI such as Claude and GPT is unlimited. New API key registration (BYOK) ended on 2026-10-12 (keys already registered keep working).

I want to log in without a password (passkeys)

Go to Settings → Security → Register passkey to register the device you use. After that you can log in without a password with your fingerprint or face (Face ID / Touch ID / Windows Hello). Biometric data stays on your device and is never sent to the server.

I want to turn on two-factor authentication (2FA)

In Settings → Security you can turn on one-time codes from an authenticator app (such as Google Authenticator). If you have registered a passkey, 2FA is skipped when you log in with the passkey.

Can I make voice calls?

Voice calls ended on 2026-09-01. To talk by voice, start a Zoom meeting (Zoom integration) from the header of a group chat. After the meeting, AI writes the minutes and a summary. Meetings with people outside your organization can be held from an External chat.

I want to schedule a message

Use the menu next to the Send button in the message box to pick a date and time. Scheduled messages are listed in Settings → Scheduled messages, and you can cancel any of them before it is sent.

I want to connect other UNI products (UNIDESK and more)

Go to Settings → Integrations & automation → UNI product integrations to connect UNIDESK, UNICORE, UNIQ and more. You can operate them from AI in plain language and sync tasks to UNIDESK automatically. See the UNI integrations guide for details.

How do I invite members to my organization?

Go to Settings → Invite members → Create URL, or invite by email. One invite link can be sent to several people at once, and the price does not change no matter how many people you invite. After they join, set permissions in Settings → Members & roles.

Can web input (forms, orders) be collected in chat?

Yes. UNIFORM answers, Stripe orders, notifications sent through Webhooks and more are posted to a group chat automatically as cards, and you can review them across the organization in 📥 Activity in the left navigation. Each card can be assigned to a person or forwarded to another channel.

What is the file upload limit?

100 MB per file. Storage per organization depends on your plan (Free 1 GB → Business 1 TB). In Settings → Storage you can check usage and delete unneeded files in bulk. For video, we recommend embedding YouTube or Vimeo.

I'm not receiving notifications

Your browser must allow notifications. Check your subscription in Settings → Notifications. On a phone, adding UNIHUB to your Home Screen (as a PWA) is the most reliable. You can also set the notification level for each group chat (all / mentions only / none).

I want to operate UNIHUB from an external AI (Claude Desktop / ChatGPT)

Create an API key in Settings → API keys / MCP. Through MCP (Model Context Protocol), an external AI can post and search messages in UNIHUB, and also use marketing features such as creating webinars, DM step messages, distributing gifts and sales pages. 19 tools compliant with JSON-RPC 2.0 are available (8 for chat + 11 for marketing).

I want to delete my account

You can delete it yourself from Settings → Account → Delete account (no need to contact support). Deleting your account removes your messages, attachments and organization memberships, and this cannot be undone. If you own an organization that has other members, transfer ownership to another member first.
